Gauge to check angular relationship of a gauge point on a helical pinion to the face of a slot in the end of the part.
The part is located between spring loaded centres and biased towards datum face. The gauge point located by a ball ended pin at the set angle. The runout of the flat is checked with a d.t.i. on movable stand. |
